Hi, I’m Abby! I’m bringing a longtime dream to life by creating floral arrangements that spark joy and add beauty to life’s small moments, meaningful milestones, and everything in between.

Silk and Ivy reflects both my creative roots and the feeling I hope to create with every arrangement. Silk is my late Gram’s maiden name and the name she used for her creative work. She was a jeweler and artist who shared her love of beautiful things with me. Some of my favorite memories are creating together in her NYC apartment studio, wandering museums, and getting lost in craft supply stores.

Ivy is inspired by The Secret Garden, the first chapter book my mom read to me. When we reached the chapter where Mary finds the key, I burst into happy tears and begged for another chapter. That feeling of joy, wonder, and anticipation has stayed with me ever since — and it’s the feeling I hope to pass along through flowers.

At its heart, Silk and Ivy is about honoring creativity and celebrating life’s big and little moments with something beautiful.
